We have negotiated rates with UPS for many global shipping destinations. Some of our prices are flat rate (including to the UK, Germany and other EU countries) and some are based on box size, weight and shipping address.
Most UPS deliveries within Europe, North America, Australia and Asia are estimated to be delivered in 2-7 business days (from shipping date) or less, sans any unforeseen circumstances such as high traffic periods (holidays), extreme weather, war, etc.
Very distant and remote areas may take around 5-10 business days to be delivered.
Clicking your tracking details in your shipment notification email will bring you to the official tracking page of your parcel, where additional information can be found.
Shipping costs only cover the cost of shipping and do not cover import fees / duties / VAT etc. The receiver is responsible for all import fees and taxes associated with their shipping destination, often invoiced through UPS. It is the responsibility of the purchaser to be aware of local applicable laws.

Tax is included in the listed price when the order value is under £135 (you will see this in your order total when checking out). Tax is not included on any orders with a value of £135 and higher. Orders with a value of £135 and higher will be taxed on top of the listed price when the package reaches the UK, typically invoiced by UPS.
US Customers:
New import procedures put in place by the current administration may delay package delivery. Click here to be sure you're up to date on the rapidly changing import rules.
From UPS - New International Collect on Delivery (“ICOD”) Fee
Parcels requiring the payment of duties, taxes and other government-related charges (“Duties”) will be assessed an additional fee of $12 USD if those Duties are not paid prior to delivery. The ICOD Fee will be charged to the U.S. recipient upon delivery and does not apply if Duties are billed to a UPS account number prior to delivery.
Recipients can avoid these charges if they pay the applicable Duties electronically through the UPS Import Payment Processing Application (IPPA) using Apple Pay, Google Pay, or with a credit card (Visa, Mastercard or Discover). A link to pay the Duties will also be provided with the UPS.com tracking info for the shipment [you can find this by clicking your tracking details in your shipment notification]. This will enable the customer to submit payments in advance and avoid the ICOD Fee.
General Information
We happily ship our products to every corner of the globe directly from our main studio in downtown Copenhagen, Denmark. While we understand that shipping costs can seem high, we hope the speedy and safe delivery of your items is worth the price!
Under normal circumstances orders are packed and shipped out of our Copenhagen studio within 2-3 business days. You will receive an order confirmation once your order is placed and a shipping notification when your order has shipped (or is ready for pickup).
Orders may take longer to pack and ship during high traffic periods like holidays and promotional periods. We appreciate and thank you in advance for your patience.
Importing Goods
Shipping prices cover regular shipping costs. They do not cover the cost of importing goods into your home country. Import fees, taxes, duties and additional handling fees may be charged to customers outside of the EU. It is your responsibility as a consumer to know the rules and fees put in place by your local government. We are not responsible for these extra charges.
Exchanges
If you are, for any reason, unsatisfied with your arhoj.com purchase you have the right to an exchange within a reasonable period of time.
To begin the process please follow the return procedure below (under 'Returns') and reach out to us at hello@arhoj.com to arrange the exchange. Please have the order number handy (even if the items were a gift).
Customers inside the EU: When your returning box is received we can either issue arhoj.com credit or send the items out in an even exchange. While we do not cover the cost of the items returning to us, we will cover the cost of the items being sent back out.
Customers outside of the EU: When your returning box is received we will issue you an arhoj.com credit (or refund, if returning). We do not cover the cost of the returning goods or the shipment of new goods going back out. If the Danish import tax / customs fee is applied to the returning goods (usually 25% of the declared value + 160 DKK), that amount may be removed from the credited amount.
Please note, returning goods is done at your own risk. Items returned damaged / unsellable will not be issued credit or an exchange. Please pack carefully. Nothing should be able to move or touch within the box.

If you are, for any reason, unsatisfied with your arhoj.com purchase you have the right to an exchange within a reasonable period of time - typically 14 days from delivery. We do not cover the costs of returning goods.
If the returning product has been used a concrete evaluation of the actual value and whether it can be resold to another buyer must be processed. A potential devaluation of price may be returned to the buyer. No goods that are returned broken or damaged are accepted - please pack carefully. Nothing should be able to move or touch within the box.
When sending an item back (for exchange or refund) please enclose a note with your order number (which can be found on the order confirmation), your email address and whether you would like a refund or arhoj.com credit. Refunds can only be issued to the original method of payment.
Please mark the box and any shipping forms as "Returning Goods / Return."

If a return is sent from outside of the EU and an import fee/tax is charged the amount may be withdrawn from your refund amount (see "customers outside the EU" above).
Packages marked "Undeliverable" / "Address Not Found" / "Return to Sender" etc.
Packages that are returned to the studio by either UPS or GLS will automatically be refunded. If a return fee and/or tax is charged to us by UPS or GLS that amount may also be removed from the refunded amount.
TIP: If you are sending a gift, please be sure the recipient is aware that a package is on the way.
