Potter Trainee

Are you dreaming of working as a full-time production potter? Do you love to work with your hands and want to expand your knowledge of clay, wheel throwing and jiggering?
Then you might be our new potter trainee.

Our potter trainee will jump right in with our team of potters in our professional, hands-on production studio. While you don't need to be a pro, you should already have some experience throwing at the wheel and, bare minimum, know how to center clay. Knowledge about free throwing, trimming and have an understanding of working with clay or porcelain is a plus.

Once you're up and running, the daily work mainly focuses on serial production of various designs and includes throwing, trimming and jiggering of items, sanding, operation of various machines, filling and emptying of kilns, packing bisque items for transport, keeping the studio clean, helping customers in the studio store, organising and other studio related tasks.

The perfect candidate
- loves working with their hands
- is, perhaps, a bit of a perfectionist and looking to improve
- can work alone and in a team
- enjoys repetitive work
- has a positive attitude and brings good vibes to the workplace
- has a curiosity for trying new things
- has a sharp eye for detail and precision

The job is full-time - 37 hours a week Monday to Friday.

Salary is based on qualifications.
The initial contract will be for one year with a three month trial period.
It is necessary that you are fluent in English - Danish is a plus.
You must already live in Copenhagen or the general area.
Workplace: Nørregade 7, Copenhagen, Denmark

Application deadline: As soon as possible
